Another PR disaster for Taylor Swift as a box containing hundreds of unopened fan letters addressed to the singer was discovered in a Nashville recycling dumpster. “Taylor gets thousands of fan letters everyday and they are delivered to her management office. After the letters are opened and read, they are recycle ... The only explanation for any letters being unopened would be that a small batch of mail that was supposed to be delivered to Taylor was accidentally put with letters headed for the recycling center ,” said a spokesperson for Swift.

How the Beastie Boys Made Their Masterpiece
Beastie Boys' 1986 debut, Licensed to Ill, made them famous. But their second album was their masterpiece. Paul's Boutique has often been called the Sgt. Pepper of hip-hop – a record that was mind-expanding in both text and texture. With help from L.A. production team the Dust Brothers, the Beasties sampled everyone from the Ramones to Mountain to the Funky 4+1 and stitched together song fragments in a way rarely seen before or since. In fact, the album may go down as the most sample-happy of all time. "Ninety-five percent of the record was sampled," said Beastie studio whiz Mario Caldato Jr. in 2003. "They spent over $250,000 for sample clearances. The list of samples on the album is so long – they're still getting sued over it."

Shear madness?
Lindsay Lohan wore a gorgeous, beaded, floor-sweeping gown by Theia to an amFAR event on Feb. 6 in NYC, but by the time she returned it, the dress was half its original length.
"She said that the dress had ripped [at a club after the fundraiser] -- she couldn't possibly wear it like that -- so her stylist friend went to the club bouncer and requested some scissors to repair the torn part of the dress," a source tellsUs Weekly. "But what bouncer has scissors?"
In the case of Taylor Swift, revenge is a dish best served smoking hot!
At the Brit Awards on Wednesday night in London - attended by both Taylor and her ex-boyfriend, One Direction's Harry Styles, who split earlier this year - the country/pop chart topper made a sexy splash on the red carpet.
The music superstar rocked a sleeveless, floor-length Elie Saab dress with thigh-high sheer panels that showed off her lengthy, gorgeous gams.
Taylor wore her hair straight and complimented her look with Neil Lane jewels and Giuseppe Zanotti heels
A source told Britain's Daily Mail the two were being kept apart.
"No one wants anything awkward to happen. Taylor and Harry are definitely being kept well apart," the source told the website.
"Taylor is near Robbie [Williams], Justin Timberlake, Mumford & Sons and James Corden in one area - Harry is down a different corridor with an extra-large room for himself and the other 1D lads," the source added.
Earlier this month, Taylor used a British accent during her performance of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" at the Grammys, which many suspected to be a dig at her British boy band ex.
Clive Davis Responds to Kelly Clarkson's Criticism of His Memoir: "I Had Every Fact Checked"
Mr. Know It All, indeed! One day after Kelly Clarkson wrote a scathing review Tuesday, Feb. 19 of his new memoir, The Soundtrack of My Life,Clive Davis responded to her claims, countering he had everything fact-checked.In a lengthy Twitterresponse of his own Feb. 20, Davis said, "As anyone who has readThe Soundtrack of My Life knows, I think Kelly Clarkson is a tremendous vocal talent and performer. In the book, I provide an in-depth look at our years together during which we shared major multi-platinum success, as well as a few creative differences. I am truly very sorry that she has decided to take issue with what I know to be an accurate depiction of our time together."
Clarkson, 30, took major issue with many of Davis' accounts of their time together, charging that her former mentor "bullied" her. "I just have to clear up his memory lapses and misinformation for myself and for my fans," she wrote on her WhoSay blog. "It feels like a violation."

Chris Brown Complains About F.A.M.E.
Chris Brown doesn’t want his public to be fooled into this thinking he actually loves his high profile lifestyle of throngs of adoring women, luxury cars, and arena concerts.
He’d rather have his pre-fame life back, according to the lyrics of his new song, “Home,” a docu-video from his world tour.
In the video that Brown premiered Friday on his Twitter page, the “Turn Up The Music” singer complains about superstardom as playful clips of performing, interacting with fans and traveling on private jets and yachts are juxtaposed in the background like b-roll.
“I got all this money calling me, how the f—k I’mma turn it down,” he asks in the song’s first verse.
He continues, “Maybe I guess that I’m a superstar now, but I wish I could go back.”
